This position is placed at our office in Stockholm where we apply a hybrid work model with the opportunity to work from home. You will be reporting directly to our Head of Finance.

About the role

Join our Finance & Insurance team in Stockholm as an Insurance Controller and help shape the future of pet insurance across Europe. In this global role, you'll support financial and insurance reporting, analysis, and planning—delivering insights that guide strategic decisions. Ideal for someone who loves numbers, thinks analytically, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze portfolio performance to identify trends and improvement areas
• Perform financial analysis, including income statement and balance sheet reviews
• Collaborate with the pricing team to deliver data-driven insights and support pricing strategies
• Prepare financial and insurance reporting to risk carriers, board of directors, investors, and management
• Contribute to financial and insurance accounting activities
• Support cash management planning
• Prepare documentation and ensure readiness for financial and risk carrier audits

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience in insurance, finance, or related analytical roles
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for data-driven decision-making
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with SQL is a merit
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly
